Solar design options for solar farms vary. Normally our client has an idea in mind of their requirements. We then work with our clients to help them comprehensively understand the potential of solar energy and the benefits a solar system would have on their operational costs or how it would impact their grid.  The design process requires many different aspects. Included is understanding the requirements of the utility company, as well as the connection points to the grid. Although the design and installation processes are relatively straightforward and painless, the connection point guidelines can often be overlooked. This is a critical part of the design process and cost considerations. The specific design needs that energy providers require differ from region to region. These needs include insulating the grid from possible system failure, integrating added protection relays, full external control, anti-reversing and monitoring.
