Helpful Resources for Reconnecting Your Growatt Inverter
To assist with setting up your Growatt monitoring device, we’ve provided the following resources:
- Growatt Monitoring Device Setup Guidance – A step-by-step guide to configuring your Growatt inverter for monitoring.
- Growatt Wi-Fi Configuration – Instructions on how to create a guest 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal to complete the ShinePhone App setup for Telstra users.
Important: Your Wi-Fi must be on a 2.4GHz signal to successfully connect your inverter to monitoring. If you’re using Telstra, refer to the attached guide for setting up a 2.4GHz connection.
Growatt Monitoring Platform
For an easy way to monitor your Growatt inverter, you can use the ShinePhone app. This app allows you to track real-time system performance, monitor energy production, and receive alerts for any system issues. It’s available for both iPhone and Android—look for the logo below when downloading it from the App Store or Google Play.
ShinePhone App Troubleshooting: If your monitoring isn’t working, uninstall and reinstall the app, then log back in. In most cases, this restores full monitoring functionality.

Troubleshooting
After reviewing the resources above, if your Growatt inverter still isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi, please double check the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure the inverter is ON and operating – Check that your Growatt inverter is powered on and generating energy.
- Verify your modem is ON and connected to the internet – Test your internet connection with another device to confirm it’s working.
- Restart the inverter’s Wi-Fi module – Turn off the Solar Supply Main Switch located in your meter box. Wait 5 minutes, then turn it back on. This resets the inverter’s Wi-Fi card and may resolve the issue.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength – Stand near the inverter and use a smartphone to check if your home Wi-Fi signal is strong. If the signal is weak, consider relocating the modem or installing a Wi-Fi extender to improve connectivity.
- Confirm the Wi-Fi password – If you have changed your Wi-Fi password or modem, you will need to update the inverter’s connection settings. Please refer to the resources above for instructions on how to reconnect your Growatt inverter to Wi-Fi.
