Troubleshooting
After reviewing the resources above, if your Sungrow inverter still isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi, please double check the following troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure the inverter is ON and operating – Check that your Sungrow inverter is powered on and generating energy.
- Verify your modem is ON and connected to the internet – Test your internet connection with another device to confirm it’s working.
- Restart the inverter’s Wi-Fi module – Turn off the Solar Supply Main Switch located in your meter box. Wait 5 minutes, then turn it back on. This resets the inverter’s Wi-Fi card and may resolve the issue.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength – Stand near the inverter and use a smartphone to check if your home Wi-Fi signal is strong. If the signal is weak, consider relocating the modem or installing a Wi-Fi extender to improve connectivity.
- Confirm the Wi-Fi password – If you have changed your Wi-Fi password or modem, you will need to update the inverter’s connection settings. Please refer to the resources above for instructions on how to reconnect your Sungrow inverter to Wi-Fi.
