Benefits of the Tesla Powerwall 3
Always Connected
Using the Tesla app, you can track your solar energy usage in real-time and receive alerts when severe weather conditions are detected.
Touch-safe
Engineered for safety, the Powerwall 3 boasts a sleek, compact design with no exposed wires or hot components, ensuring it’s completely touch-safe for all users.
Affordable
The Powerwall 3 features an integrated inverter that converts DC energy to AC, reducing both the cost and complexity of the system.
Use More of Your Solar
Most residential properties only utilize a small portion of the solar energy they generate. By installing a solar battery, you can harness and use all the solar energy your system produces.
Energy Independence
By using the excess solar energy stored in your battery to power your home, you decreases your dependence on the grid, leading to even greater savings on your electricity bill.
Backup Your Home
The Powerwall 3 safeguards your home during power outages. Unlike grid-dependent systems, which lose electricity when the grid goes down, a solar battery ensures your lights, Wi-Fi, and appliances keep running smoothly.
Flexible Installation
The solar energy battery can be mounted on either the wall or the floor, offering complete flexibility in installation and placement. You can stack and connect up to 4 units for expanded capacity.
Exceptional Warranty
The Powerwall 3 comes with a comprehensive 10-year warranty, offering peace of mind and guaranteeing long-term reliability and performance.
Weather-proof
Designed to withstand temperatures from -20°C to 50°C and water-resistant, the Powerwall 3 is versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The Powerwall 3 Vs Powerwall 2
The key difference between the Powerwall 3 and its predecessors lies in its all-in-one (hybrid) design. The new Powerwall 3 includes a built-in solar inverter, unlike the Powerwall 2, which is an AC battery that requires a separate solar inverter for installation.
For those familiar with the Powerwall+ (Plus), the Powerwall 3 offers a similar all-in-one system but has been re-engineered with a much more powerful 11.5kW inverter and a higher 20kW solar capacity.
Upgrading and Compatibility
If you’re considering upgrading from a Powerwall 2, it’s important to note that the Powerwall 3 can only be paired with other Powerwall 3 batteries. However, the Powerwall 3 is highly versatile and can be used with most existing solar systems, making it a flexible and powerful solution for your home’s energy needs.
